Here are 3 pieces of advice on creating content from a math tutor with 3.8M followers on TikTok

Throughout our work, we’ve interviewed numerous educators, exploring how each tutor approaches the challenges of creating content for their social media.
Today, I will start with three pieces of advice I received from an educator with 3.8 million followers on TikTok and 400k followers on Instagram! His name is Carry, and he is a math blogger with the account your.bummy.math.tutor.
And here is his advice on how to gain more followers as an educator!
Focus on short content!
Learning something is hard (even math in his case)
And we definitely don’t want it to be boring.
Memes are always a good decision.
Just find (or create) ones that fit your audience!
A catchy thumbnail is king!
The first 5 seconds are extremely important!
They should be incredibly engaging!
Start with a controversial phrase
or with a hook like: '5 Exercises that will...'Essentially, create interest right away.
Be consistent! Post regularly—the more, the better!
The key to creating tons of content is to simplify the creation process!
If you think it might not be good enough content—try it anyway; you never know.
Spend no more than 20 minutes creating a short video!
In that case you will be able to produce significant amount of content and learn fast!
